Who we are
This site is published by Sir Peter Thornton KC.
What we collect
If you join the mailing list, your address and the date you signed up is stored by our email provider on our behalf. We do not ask for anything else. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This is used to keep the site secure and running reliably, not to profile you.
How we use it
- To send occasional emails, such as notification of a major event like a second edition of the book. (There is no opportunity for correspondence.)
- To maintain and protect the site.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Cookies
This site uses only essential cookies required for basic operation. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies at present. If that changes, we will update this page.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may ask what we hold about you, request correction or deletion, or object to certain uses. If you wish to exercise these rights, we will respond within a reasonable time.
External links
Our News section links to articles on other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
